Established in 2004, Farmhouse Recording Studio is situated in Chandler, just 15min from Brisbane’s CBD. Set it a semi-rural setting on 2.5 acres, it offers a relaxed atmosphere free from distractions allowing clients to focus on the creative process. Careful choices in the design and ergonomics of the control room and recording room also fascilitate this atmosphere. Polished floors, embossed fabriques and antique lamps give very much a relaxed lounge room feel to the large open control room.
It has seen such artists as Bindi Irwin, Graeme Connors, The Ten Tenors, Lee Kernegan and Adam Lopez use the studio space as well as operating as a prodcution and programming studio for Mark McDuff. Music for numerous Discovery Channel series have been produced at Farmhouse including The Crocodile Hunter, Bindi the Jungle Girl and Worst Animal Nightmares. Not only TV series, but advertising commericals such as Treasury Casino, Jupiters Casino, Fisher and Paykel have also seen their conception at Farmhouse.
